मेरठ में नाव पलटने से छह लोग लापता | Six people missing after boat capsizes in Meerut
डिजिटल डेस्क, मेरठ। मेरठ के भीमकुंड गंगा घाट पर मंगलवार को करीब 17 लोगों को ले जा रही एक नाव के पलट जाने से छह लोग लापता हो गए।
ग्यारह लोगों को बचा लिया गया है, जबकि लापता लोगों का पता लगाने के लिए बचाव अभियान जारी है, जिसमें दो सरकारी शिक्षक भी शामिल हैं। गंगा नहर पर बने पुल के टूटने से लोग नाव से नदी पार करते हैं।
पलटी गई नाव पर छह मोटरसाइकिलें भी सवार थीं और 17 लोगों में छह से सात शिक्षक थे। हादसे की सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस व प्रशासनिक अधिकारी मौके पर पहुंचे। जिला अधिकारियों के अनुसार लोगों की तलाश के लिए पीएसी मोटरबोट बुलाई गई है।
